Coca-Cola prepares for a four billion USD investment in China
The world's largest soft drink manufacturer announced today, that the company will invest four billion USD between 2012-14. “China is one of the most important growing market,” – said Muhtar Kent, Coca-Cola Chairman and CEO.
Between 2009-11, the company has also invested three billion USD in China. The Coca-Cola plans to invest on introducing new product lines and on the expansion of infrastructure of manufacturers and sales investments. The company also builds a bottling plant in China.
The Coca-Cola this sold one billion crates of soft drinks in this year's first half, duplicating last year's volume – reports MTI.
