Four new vegetable varieties were developed at the Kecskemét-based Zöldségmag Kft.
Four new vegetable varieties were developed in Kecskemét. The Kecskemét-based Zöldségmag Kft.won 99 million HUF non-repayable support from the New Széchenyi Plan. The total cost of the investment is more than 219 million HUF – the company told MTI .
Under the project, the breeding of a mid-season mildew, a resistant pea variety, a kapia type of pepper, a seedless, dark -skinned watermelon and a short growing period, cabbage has been completed. The new species are offering alternatives too primarily the Hungarian farmers – the company said. ( MTI)
