SPAR Èeská open 4 new stores
SPAR Ceska, operates 27 Interspar hypermarkets and 4 Spar supermarkets in the CzechRep, last year reduced loss to Kc412.2m from 2006's Kc574.7m on sales Kc1bn higher on the year at Kc11.96bn, according to the company's annual report.
The Austrian parent company Spar
raised share capital of the retailer twice to Kc2.43bn last year,
and a further share capital hike to Kc2.84bn was entered in the
Register of Companies in February this year.
SPAR COS ranked 12th last year among
the largest retailers on the domestic market, according to a list
compiled by Incoma Research and Moderni obchod magazine.
The company will continue expanding
its outlet network, the annual report said, adding that four new
stores will be launched in 2008.
