Euronics is opening four new stores in different parts of the country
After the complete renovation of its stores in Budaörs and Dombóvár, the Hungarian-owned Euronics is expanding its nationwide physical store network with new units. In the next three months, the company that distributes electronic goods will open four new stores, all of them set up in Tesco stores. The new stores will be located in Budapest, Szentes, Kiskunfélegyháza and Orosháza.
The electronics retailer with the largest store network in Hungary is opening four new units: Hungarian customers will soon be able to visit Hungarian-owned Euronics stores at 65 locations across the country. In the new stores, in addition to traditional electronic devices, customers can also find products such as LEGO toys, garden and DIY tools or electric bicycles and scooters.
The reason behind the four new stores is that Euronics, in addition to becoming the 100% Hungarian-owned e-retailer with the largest turnover, continues to believe in the importance of personal customer experience and expert advice, i.e. the physical store network. The approach is also confirmed by the results: the results of both the webshop and the store network increase year by year, and according to the company’s experience, the importance of the stores has not decreased even with the rise of online.
“Customers still like to take the products in their hands, see them in person, and, where appropriate, ask for advice from qualified colleagues. According to our experience, since the pandemic, the previous desire to visit stores has returned, the importance of physical stores is growing again”
– said László Hunyady, sales and operations director of Euronics. According to the manager, based on the number of visitors, personal shopping can still offer customers an experience.
