Between September 26-28, Szombathely will host the Waberer’s Gymnastics Challenge World Cup, where gymnasts from 38 countries will compete in the final test of strength before the World Championships in Jakarta. The main sponsor of the prestigious competition is Waberer’s for the third year in a row, and Waberer’s is committed to supporting sports and young talents.
This year, Szombathely will once again host the Hungarian Gymnastics Challenge World Cup, which will be held between September 26-28 at the Schaeffler Arena Savaria. The Waberer’s Gymnastics Challenge World Cup serves as a direct rehearsal for the world’s best gymnasts, as they will be able to compete against each other just two weeks before the World Championships in Jakarta. Waberer’s, Hungary’s leading complex logistics company, is the main sponsor of the competition for the third year in a row.
This year’s competition will feature a stronger field than ever before: according to the organizers, competitors from 38 countries will compete, including athletes from Australia, Argentina, China, India and even South Africa. This way, fans can cheer not only on Hungarian competitors, but also on gymnasts from many parts of the world.
“We are proud to be able to stand behind Hungarian gymnastics for the third year in a row. Supporting young talents and allowing the Hungarian public to participate in world-class competitions is of utmost importance to Waberer’s. Gymnastics is not only a spectacular sport, but also the basis of physical culture, which contributes to the healthy development of children and a commitment to regular physical activity – these values are also decisive in the operation of our company,”
– said Krisztina Tóth-Patai, ESG and CSR Director of Waberer’s Group.
A fan zone awaits those interested during the competition: the presence of main sponsor Waberer’s on Saturday and Sunday will make the event even more exciting with special programs.
