On four wheels for Hungarian food production
Coop Rally was organised for the fifth time, and the 84 cars travelled around the central and northern part of Transdanubia from 16 until 18 September, to tell people about the high quality of Hungarian food products. Before the rally took off, László Murányi, CO-OP Hungary Zrt.’s CEO told at the press conference that the Coop Group was able to preserve its market share in the difficult economic period: last year their sales revenue was HUF 510 billion. The company consists of 200 enterprises and at the moment an IT development and a store refurbishment programme are in the centre of Coop’s attention. For the record, the Anna Benke (Barra Communication Institute) – Lajos Papp (TISZA Coop) duo won the Coop Rally.
