The highest inflation occurred in July in the euro area four months ago
In July, consumer prices rose by 0.4 percent year-on-year in the 19 euro area Member States, following a 0.3 percent annual rise in June.
A year earlier, in July 2019, inflation in the eurozone was 1.0 percent. The final 0.4 percent inflation in July 2020 is the highest in the euro area of the past for months. (MTI)
