Hungary's competitiveness improved four places
Hungary stands on the 48th place from last year's 52nd place in the global competitiveness ranking of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2011 – announced Palócz Éva, CEO of Kopint-Tárki's Hungarian counterpart of the WEF at a conference in Budapest on Wednesday.
The world ranking is led by Switzerland, in front of Singapore, Sweden and Finland, while the United States is fifth. Among the rankings of the Visegrád countries the best is the Czech Republic on the 38th, Poland on the 41st, Hungary on the 48th place, while Slovakia is on the 69th place, after its 46th place in 2008 – reports MTI.
