Negative record in sugar production: a further price increase may come
The sugar production is expected to decrease to its two decade nadir in the world's third largest sugar-producing country, in Australia.
According to the report of Abares, the Australian Agricultural Office; exports will increase by 21 percent to 3.58 million tonnes. In this case, it would be the worst season since the 1991-1992-year period. This year, the price of sugar rose to its 29 years peak, because of the concern, that the Brazilian and Indian production will be weaker than expected – reports tozsdeforum.hu.
