The summer seasonal food chain inspection ended with mixed experiences: during the inspection of 4,307 establishments and nearly 12,000 products, more than 34 tonnes of food products were withdrawn and fines were imposed in a value of about 22 million HUF – the National Food Chain Safety Authority (Nébih) announced on its website on Wednesday.
The nationally coordinated series of inspections took place between July 1 and August 20, the focus areas of the investigation were similar to previous years, but this year mobile shops were added as a new element. (MTI)
