Nébih: avian flu has appeared in more counties

The presence of avian influenza was confirmed by the laboratory of the National Food Chain Safety Office in poultry flocks in Hajdú-Bihar and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg counties on Wednesday, Nébih told MTI.

The announcement highlighted that the authorities started killing 14,500 roast ducks and almost 19,500 breeding ducks in Nyíradony and Pátroha. The study was conducted after an increase in mortality on both farms, with a decrease in feed consumption in the latter.

The agency drew attention to the fact that the epidemic risk due to migratory wild birds is still extremely high. (MTI)
