Nébih: another infected wild boar was found
Another infected wild boar was found in Heves County. Since 21 April, African swine fever (ASP) has been detected in a total of five carcasses – the chief veterinarian of the National Food Chain Safety Officer (Nébih) told M1 news channel on Monday.
Bognár Lajos added: Currently, the protection of livestock is the most important since there is no vaccine or treatment for the virus.
He said that the disease affects a part of Heves county north of the M3 motorway, where Nébih investigates every wild boar shot, trying to prevent the spread of the virus. (MTI)
