Nébih: more than 15,000 hectares of plantations was hit by spring frost damage
More than 15,000 hectares of damage was caused to plantations by nationwide spring frost. Damage after April 1 can still be reported until May 15, the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) announmced on its website on Wednesday.
According to the data recorded in the IT system operated by Nébih, inspectors of the county government offices were inspected areas affected by spring frost damage (15,426 hectares) until 8 May. Based on the test results already processed, 26 out of 3161 plots were found to have actual frost damage by the authority. (MTI)
