NÉBIH: the GMO-free production rules have become stricter
The rules of the GMO-free production have become stricter. The regulation defining the rules of genetically modified organism-free production and the conditions for the distribution of GMO-free food and feed entered into force on Tuesday – the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) told MTI on Wednesday.
They stressed that the new regulation will allow the GMO-free food and feed to be given specific labeling, as well as certain complex products and meat of animals and fish fed with GMO-free feed, eggs, milk or GMO-free honey. (MTI)
