Nébih tightens the conditions of animal transportation due to the extreme heat
The Ministry of Agriculture (AM) has banned the transport of animals in vehicles without air conditioning, and, due to the extraordinary heat forecast, prohibits the re-launch of long-term consignments of ruminant animals from Hungary to Turkey from Friday until further instructions – the National Food Chain Safety Agency (Nébih) announced on its website .
According to Nébih’s Friday announcement, during the summer, county government agencies pay special attention to the examination of long-term animal shipments during the so-called depth check. This means, inter alia, that if the temperature of the vehicle in the controlled vehicle reaches a maximum of 30 plus 5 degrees Celsius as defined by law, the vehicle will be directed to the nearest rest station.
