Hungarian pork can be delivered to Hong Kong and Georgia
Hungarian pork products can be transported to Hong Kong and Georgia. None of these countries will restrict the imports of Hungarian pork meat – the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) announced on Friday.
A positive development is the result of a professional reconciliation work of the veterinary authority.
The Hong Kong Food Authority on Thursday afternoon, while the Georgian Office on Friday morning sent a letter to Bognár Lajos, National Chief Veterinary Officer, that no restrictions on imports of Hungarian pig meat were imposed, due to the African swine fewer (ASF) found in wild boars on 21 April.
