Nébih: one can collect only two kilograms of bear garlic for own consumption
One can collect only two kilograms of bear garlic for own consumption in public forests that do not qualify as nature conservation areas. For commercial collection a licence is required in all cases – the National Food Chain Safety Agency (Nébih) pointed out on its website.
People can request credible information from the forest management of the affected area or, in the case of a national park, from the Managing Directorate of the national park, and can also get information on the classification of individual forest areas on the interactive map of Nébih – the agency told in a statement.
