Nébih: no new bluetongue infection in Hungary
The authorities have not found new, bluetongue infected animals in Hungary since the quarantine – the Animal Health and Animal Welfare Board of Directors of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) told MTI on Wednesday.
In November bluetongue disease was detected in several counties – Győr-Moson-Sopron, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén and Bács-Kiskun counties.
On the total restricted areas the farmers can voluntarily vaccinate their animals to prevent the bluetongue disease, and they can to use state aid as well – the Nébih informs. (MTI)
