Nébih: four million HUF fine for turkey forgery
The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) found only small amount or insignificant quantities of turkey meat in eight kind of turkey products of a Hungarian food producer. The products were withdrawn, the producer can expect several million HUF fines – the Nébih told MTI on Monday.
The experts of the Nébih checked the manufacturing unit of the Debrecen-based MAR-NE-VÁLL Kft.. They found more than two tons of expired or unlabeled products in the manufacturing plant. Among the forged products, private label products of three supermarket chains could also be found. (MTI)
