NÉBIH: the ban on the most widely used pesticide would make weed control difficult
The withdrawal of glyphosate-based products would make weed control difficult and would make it more expensive – the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) told MTI.
The agency recalled that about the use of glyphosate a dispute broke out last year in the European Union despite the fact that the European Food Safety Authority declared unfounded worries over the health risks. Decision is expected to be made by the end of the year. (MTI)
