Nébih: Metro recalled a beef product
Metro Kereskedelmi Kft. recalled fresh beef shanks, beef loin and beef ribs from the market due to higher than permissible levels of PFOS (perfluorooctanesulfonic acid), the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) told MTI on Thursday.
The recall applies to fresh beef legs with a production date of October 24, 2023 and a best-by date of December 5, 2023, fresh beef loin weighing 4.5-5 kilograms and fresh beef ribs weighing 2.5-3 kilograms.
Nébih asks customers not to consume the affected products.
The products can be returned to any store of Metro Kereskedelmi Kft., and the full purchase price will be refunded.
