Nébih: soup cubes recalled due to undeclared soy allergen
Several Hungarian companies have received the Vietnamese soup cubes that had to be recalled due to undeclared soy allergen content, the National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority (Nébih) announced on its website on Monday.
The affected products, the 75-gram Bao Long Pho Soup Cube and Bao Long Pho Soup Cube with Chicken Flavor, were sold in packs of 12. The exporter is Thy Long Production Trading CO LT, and the wholesaler is the Dutch Heuschen & Schrouff.
The warning came through the EU’s rapid alert system for food and feed safety, they wrote.
Nébih has contacted the domestic companies concerned to recall the goods as soon as possible. The authority will monitor their measures and the removal and destruction of the recalled items, the statement reads.
