Although the poultry holders have improved their preparedness for disease control, the overwhelming majority of them continue to meet only the minimum conditions for replanting required by the authority – the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) told MTI.
According to the statement, the majority of poultry holders still lack the level of effective prevention to avoid a pandemic of the same size as last year –was revealed within the one week long epidemic control action of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) implemented at the end of September in co-operation with the Poultry Product Board (BTT) and government agencies.
