Nébih: improved results at the Tisza summer seasonal food chain inspection
In the last week of June, the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) inspected the restaurants operating at Lake Tisza, and the experiences of the first target area of the summer seasonal food chain inspection turned out to be favorable: the inspectors also noticed an improving trend in the areas of hygiene and food handling – the Nébih announced with MTI on Tuesday.
Only 51 kilograms of product were withdrawn from circulation, and proceedings were initiated in 2 cases.
It will be recalled: from June 14, Márton Nobilis, the state secretary responsible for the food industry and trade policy, ordered the series of summer seasonal inspections, which this year also pays special attention to one important area.
Similar to last year, the inspections focused on the hygienic condition of the restaurants, the traceability and suitability of the raw materials, and the control of their handling.
They said the results were overall positive and showed an improving trend compared to last year’s inspection. The inspected units largely complied with the strict food hygiene standards, only minor deficiencies were noted by the inspectors.
