Nébih: the manufacturer recalled gluten-free cereal from Penny Market stores
Vincze és Tsa Kft. recalled FREE Chocolate-flavored gluten-free extruded cereal from the market due to an unlabeled soy allergen, reads the notice published on the website of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) on Tuesday.
Customers who are sensitive to soy are asked not to consume the product available in the 300-gram package. The expiry date of the recalled cereal is 04/19/2024, batch number 28313534172111177.
In the information published on its website, the distributor Penny-Market Kft. justified the recall due to inadequate allergen information by reducing the health risk and protecting the health of consumers. The manufacturer will do everything possible to prevent a similar case from happening again, they added.
