Nébih: metal pieces are found in some soft drinks produced by Coca-Cola HBC Austria GmbH
The Austrian authorities informed the member states through the EU’s food and feed safety alert system (RASFF) that during the corporate self-inspection of Coca-Cola HBC Austria GmbH, metal pieces were found in its carbonated soft drinks – Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite – for which the Hungarians during their purchases abroad consumers also had access to it – the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) informed MTI on Wednesday.
Therefore, Nébih draws the public’s attention to the fact that whoever bought the 0.5-liter bottle produced by Coca-Cola HBC Austria GmbH, 02.04.2025. – 12.04.2025 from a soft drink with a shelf life marked “WP” below the date, do not consume it.
They added that Coca-Cola Zero, Coca-Cola Zero Lemon, Coca-Cola Zero Zucker Zero Caffeine, Coca-Cola Light, Fanta Orange, Fanta Orange Zero, Fanta Lemon Zero, Fanta Exotic Zero and Sprite Zero are among the affected products. , whose distributors are the Austrian wholesalers METRO and Kastner.
