Nebih has expanded the area infected with African swine fever
The area infected with African swine fever (ASP) has been expanded in Hungary, affecting wildlife management units in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok counties – the National Food Chain Safety Authority (Nebih) published.
At its meeting in late May, the National Expert Group on Classical Swine Fever and African swine fever decided to classify several Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county game management areas as infected. In addition, due to a positive sample, detected in a wild boar in Regéc, additional areas have been declared temporarily infected by the Chief Veterinarian. (MTI)
