Nébih: African swine fever virus was identified in another area in Borsod
The Laboratory of the National Food Chain Safety Agency (Nébih) detected African Swine Fever (ASF) in the corpse of a wild boar found on the outskirts of the village of Hangony, in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County – the agency announced on its website on Monday.
They added that the new case was identified on 13 January in a high-risk area. In the last four months, the testing of more than 150 samples of mainly wild boars from this area showed negative results. (MTI)
