Nébih at OMÉK: knowledge, entertainment and tasting

The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) will also participate in the 82nd National Agricultural and Food Industry Exhibition and Fair (OMÉK) between 18-21 September 2025. The event, which presents the colorful palette of agriculture and the food industry, is organized by the Agricultural Marketing Center. Nébih awaits interested parties at its stand 202B in Pavilion A with useful professional content, entertaining and educational games. In addition, the office is preparing prizes and a tasting for families and professional visitors.

On 18 September, the four-day OMÉK will open its doors at the Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center. The event’s program will be of interest to both professional visitors and the general public. At the Nébih stand, professional knowledge and entertainment meet: interactive programs, games and prizes await families and professional enthusiasts alike. Visitors to OMÉK can learn about Nébih’s attitude-shaping programs through play. Among others, the product tester Szupermenta, and our country’s national food waste prevention program, Maradék nélkül, which also comes with interesting puzzles, just like the Nébih Education program. The KMÉ trademark, which represents high-quality foods, further enriches Nébih’s offer. At the exhibition, visitors can learn about the national quality system, and at the KMÉ counter, in addition to professional information, they have the opportunity to taste trademarked products. The stand naturally also awaits children with playful and entertaining programs. The office’s goal is to provide important knowledge in an experiential, even playful, way, including on current plant and animal health issues, food safety and sustainable consumption.
