NÉBIH: each farmer will be given compensation, because of the bird flu
It is mandatory to slaughter the bird flu-infected livestock, but state compensation will be given to all affected farmers; the sum is the market value of the animals – the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) told MTI on Monday.
According to the information provided, the amount of state compensation is from the central budget of Hungary. The NÉBIH will arrange the payment of the compensation. The money will be paid to the owner within 60 days after the compensation decision becomes final – they wrote. (MTI)
