Nébih: the distributor Paleolit recalled ground cumin and cinnamon from the market
Paleocentrum Kft. recalled Paleolit ground cumin due to the presence of pyrrolizidine alkaloids, and Paleolit ground cinnamon due to lead above the legal limit – the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) announced on Monday.
According to the information, the 50-gram, 250-gram, and 1-kilogram Paleolit ground cumin with a shelf life of June 30, 2026, and the 50-gram, 250-gram, and 1-kilogram Paleolit ground cinnamon with a shelf life of November 30, 2025 are affected by the recall.
