Nébih: 34 million HUF fine during the winter food chain checks
Across the country, food chain safety professionals carried out nearly 7,500 inspections, during the six weeks of the seasonal winter food chain checks – the Food and Feed Safety Directorate of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) told MTI on Thursday.
The inspectors – who primarily investiogated and tested the products that are associated with the Christmas holidays – warned the traders 108 times, and imposed fines 310 times in a value of approximately 34 million HUF. Almost two hundred tons of food products were withdrawn from the market. (MTI)
