NAV’s new direction
This autumn the Hungarian parliament will debate important changes in tax procedures. According to András Tállai, president of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV), the new tax law will have many elements which are unique even at a European level, e.g. help in starting one’s first business via mentoring. The NAV 2.0 programme will also be launched: this specifies tasks for the next 5 years and its main goal is to offer real-time, paperless services to individuals and enterprises. Mr Tállai believes that it is a realistic goal of NAV 2.0 to cut the time businesses spend with administrative work by 50 percent. //
