NAV: hundreds of millions HUF fines due to shipments without ekáer number
The National Tax and Customs Authority (NAV) is expected to impose a fine of more than one hundred million HUF on two companies in Budapest.
The two companies did not report more than 250 million HUF worth goods into the electronic road freight traffic control system (ekáer) or were unable to verify the products’ origin they transport.
According to the information of the (NAV) did not comply to the obligate ekáer notification in almost 50 cases. (MTI)
