NAV: the ekáer and the HU-GO helped to detect hundreds of millions HUF tax evasion
The electronic road freight traffic control system (ekáer) and the HU-GO electronic toll system data contributed to detect a hundreds of millions of HUF VAT fraud case – the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) told MTI.
According to the data of the ekáer – which can track the path of the shipment, on the basis of information from the toll cameras – it turned out that the monthly 30-40 truckloads of goods are transported directly to the customers of the company. (MTI)
