NAV: the summer inspection continues
The special summer inspection of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) continues, the investigations so far have revealed numerous irregularities, the violators risk a lot, as from August 1 the fine for non-compliance has doubled, so for example, those who employs undeclared employees or fails to provide receipts – NAV informed MTI on Friday.
It was announced that special attention will also be paid this year to the inspection of taxpayers operating around Lake Balaton, which also includes product sellers and service providers. The inspections will last at least until autumn, the end of the tourist season. In addition to the concerned counties, inspectors from several other counties also participate in the inspections.
According to the information, during the summer period NAV checks the merchants and service providers of the settlements around Lake Balaton based on a preliminary risk analysis, adjusting to their opening hours and traffic.
It is announced that during the inspections this year, the examination of the correct determination and payment of the tourism development contribution will also receive special attention. Based on experience so far, the most common rule violation is still the failure to issue a receipt – they write in the announcement.
