NAV: the return can be submitted in the eVAT system
Since February 1st, the VAT return can be submitted in the eVAT system via a web interface or machine-to-machine connection – the National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) informed MTI on Tuesday.
The announcement draws attention to the fact that the service package based on tax office data offers a beneficial solution for all businesses to fulfill their tax obligations quickly and accurately. In addition to less administration than before, the new electronic VAT system is able to serve the data needs of the business administration system.
Highlighted: the most important functions of eVAT include downloading and editing source data, preparing a draft of the return on the web interface, pre-checking and submitting the return, as well as a message warning users of machine-to-machine connection about data discrepancies.
