NAV: The launch of ÁNYK is on the agenda
The eVAT system of the National Tax and Customs Office has already completed the introduction of many new functions, the development of which will last until 2025. Accounting software can play an increasingly important role in this field as well, as the elimination of the traditional form-filling system, ÁNYK, is already on the agenda – it was revealed at the round table discussion organized by Kulcs-Soft.
– The development of VAT will last until 2025, until then we will continuously expand the system with new functions – said Dr. György Varró, head of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV). As the expert put it, the VAT was successfully launched in February this year, but the system is not yet complete.
– As of July 1st, the range of functions available in eVAT will be expanded, from then on it will be possible to perform self-checks in the system, because according to the feedback, this has been one of the biggest obstacles to the mass transition to eVAT – he added. Among the other expected functions, he mentioned that it will be possible to submit an out-of-order VAT return in the system, and that the system will also be able to handle the predecessor-successor relationship – both new functions are expected to be available in the system from January 1, 2025.
