Coca-Cola to double water bottling capacity with EU support
The technological upgrade would help improve region's competitiveness and would also create new work possibilities.
The Hungarian unit of the Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, plans to pump HUF 2.5 billion in a two-year project to double mineral water bottling capacities of its NaturAqua products. The programme at Zalaszentgrót will be backed by HUF 500 million worth of EU funds.
The first bottle of NaturAqua mineral water rolled out of the company at the end of 2002. The plant had been build as a green-field investment at a cost of HUF 4 bn.
