Orange, peach and apple is the ranking in terms of volume
Fruit juice retail sales were down 9 percent in value in the February 2009-January 2010 period, compared to the same period a year earlier and totalled at HUF 42 billion.
Volume sales achieved minus 13 percent at 212 million litres – says the Nielsen Retail Index. Volume-weighted average sales price per litre was HUF 161 for drinks, HUF 232 for nectars and HUF 267 for juices. Private labels’market share was 34 percent in volume. The most important retail channel was the 401-2,500 m² one with a 37-percent share. Flavours: orange was at 19 percent, followed by mixed fruits at 16 and peach at 15.
