A daily donation of one million from P&G in 2022
It provided material and product support worth more than HUF 367 million to Procter&Gamble’s partner organizations in Hungary in 2022. During its more than 30 years of domestic presence, the company has continuously supported the work of, among others, the Hungarian Red Cross, the Hungarian Food Bank Association, UNICEF, Habitat for Humanity, the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service, the Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Organization and the SOS Children’s Villages, with their cooperation it has donated several billion forints to to the needy in the form of product and monetary donations.
Over the past three decades, Procter & Gamble has established highly significant partnerships with numerous domestic organizations and local communities, to which it provides continuous financial, voluntary or product support. In 2022, it delivered nearly half a million products worth more than one million per day, i.e. a total of HUF 367,669,000, to four prominent partner organizations, among others. With the cooperation of the Hungarian Red Cross, the Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Organization, the Hungarian Maltese Charities and the Hungarian Élelmiszerbank Egyesület, they provided significant support to families and communities in difficult situations not only because of the pandemic, but also because of the war that has been going on since last year.
The company supplies domestic organizations with a wide range of products month after month. Last year, among other things, it donated women’s intimate hygiene and baby care products, toiletries, hand sanitizer, washing and cleaning products, oral care products, razors, deodorants and air fresheners, and also delivered office furniture and armchairs to those in need. With the help of its own volunteers, it supports children with a difficult fate every year, and has already planted several hectares of forest in the country as part of its “Plant better air” program.
