The establishment and development of a NAK information bank would stabilize the onion sector
Hungarian onion growers would improve the export – import ratio and domestic security of supply, thus stabilizing the sector with onion information bank and technological advances, with the professional support of the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) – the NAK told MTI on Monday.
According to their announcement, the information bank would be a central database maintained by the chamber, in which producers would voluntarily provide yield and quality data, as well as the needs of supermarket chains. This would, among other things, help with planning and could serve as a basis for future joint production and sales organization, matching supply and demand. (MTI)
