NAK: the warm, humid weather differently affected the crops
The hot and humid summer weather differently affected the crops. It had a unfavorable affect on winter wheat, while on maize and sunflowers it had a positive impact – the National Association of Agricultural Economics (NAK) told MTI.
The continuous rains in the last days affected the winter wheat badly. About two-thirds of the harvest has feed quality – the chamber described, adding that the quality of the crop steadily weakens as harvest progresses. However, the rainy weather is conducive to maize. (MTI)
