NAIK Director General: drought damages can be reduced
Gyuricza Csaba, the head of the National Agrarian Research and Innovation Center (NAIK) at the Efficiently in Drought Conference on Monday in Hajdúhadház pointed out that farmers do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of drought-tolerant plant varieties.
Among the soil cultivation practices that cause climate damage, he highlighted the summer plowing, the performance-impaired stubble cultivation, the poor quality of autumn plowing and the lack of surface protection during the summer months. (MTI)
