As a result of the breakfast war between American fast food chains, McDonald’s is requesting its American partners to open at five in the morning. 75 per cent of the 13,700 restaurants have complied with the request so far, but opening so early is expected to be made mandatory soon. McDonald’s restaurants also stay open longer in the night.
