The ZEW German economic sentiment index deteriorated significantly in July
In July, the business sentiment in Germany fell unexpectedly to a level lower than at the beginning of the Covid crisis, according to a survey by the economic research institute ZEW.

German business sentiment plummeted in July
ZEW’s economic sentiment index in Germany fell by 25.8 points to minus 53.8 points in July from minus 28.0 points in June, which is the lowest value since December 2011 and well below market expectations of minus 38.3 points. (MTI)
