Hungary’s maritime freight traffic has grown significantly
According to the analysis of the Association of Hungarian Logistics Service Centers (MLSZKSZ), 64 percent of the turnover was imported. The goods arrived in Hungary mainly from the Far East, through the ports of Southern Europe – mainly as raw materials for the manufacturing industry. At the same time, the finished products leave the country mostly in road transport, and to a lesser extent by rail. (origo)
