A big increase in German retail sales
The German retail sales reached the greatest increase of the past three years in August, compared to the previous month – the German Federal Statistics Office, the Destatis announced.
In August, According to preliminary datas, the German retail sales increased by 0.1 percent in real terms and by 0.6 percent in nominal terms, compared to August 2013.
Analysts expected 0.2 percent decline in real terms after the modified 1.0 percent increase of July. (MTI)
