Chinese retail sales increased significantly
In November, retail sales and industrial production in China increased with the highest annual growth of the past five months, according to a report from the Beijing National Bureau of Statistics.
In November, retail sales grew 8.0 percent year-on-year, after the 7.2 percent year-on-year growth of October. The market expected a lower growth of 7.6 percent.
Retail sales reached 8.0 percent in November, the highest year-on-year growth in China since June. (MTI)
