The increase in prices slowed in January
After a long time, inflation caused a positive surprise, slowing down in January. Consumer prices were 4 percent higher, compared to the first month of 2010 – reports the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
The January data is 0.7 percent lower, than the data of December, and is under the preliminary estimates with a few tenths. The largest pressure in price increase came from the foodstuffs, but the 6.4 percent increase is a slowdown, compared to December – reports Világgazdaság Online.
